Filme biográfico sobre Steve Jobs, o fundador da Apple, traz Ashton Kutcher no papel-título, o que foi o grande erro do filme. Impossível dar credibilidade a um personagem interpretado por que é conhecido apenas por comédias românticas e muito besteirol. Ficou um tanto quanto caricato o personagem. Além disso, o seu principal apoiador e investidor, Mike Markkula é interpretado por Dermot Mulroney (de O Casamento do  Meu Melhor amigo). Sei lá, acho que a escalação de elenco foi totalmente errada, exceto por J. K. Simmons que faz o investidor Arthur Rock que é quem passa a perna em Jobs e acaba tirando-o da Apple por alguns anos.

Bom, o filme mostra a vida do hippie Jobs nos anos 70 e como ele conseguiu seus primeiros milhares de dólares, ainda trabalhando para a Atari. O talento de negociador dele é incrível, além de sua visão empreendedora com foco naquilo que os potenciais clientes desejam comprar: status. Mas seu forte nunca foi a engenharia em si. Então ele teve o apoio fundamental de seu amigo Woz (Josh Gad) que desde o início foi quem colocou a mão na massa para desenvolver o primeiro Apple e antes disso, um jogo para a Atari que rendeu 5.000 dólares a Jobs (que repassou ao “amigo” apenas 350 dólares, na sua primeira grande mentira, pois disse ao amigo que ganhariam apenas 700). Jobs era mesmo um gênio no que tange a negociação de seus produtos e marca e também na expectativa que criava no mercado, mas seu caráter é um pouco duvidoso. O filme passa rapidamente sobre sua briga com Bill Gates (Microsoft) mas não deixa claro se o Windows foi realmente uma ideia roubada dos laboratórios da Apple. O filme é interessante e pende a atenção porque Jobs é realmente um caso extremo de empresário bem sucedido que vale a pena ser estudado, até mesmo por quem não é aficionado em tecnologia e computação. Mas sei lá, parece que faltava alguma coisa no filme. Ficou um pouco insosso.

Parece que ainda esse ano (2015) sairá um novo filme sobre Jobs. Vamos aguardar, talvez seja melhor...

In addition, its main supporter and investor Mike Markkula is played by Dermot Mulroney (from “My best friend's wedding”). I think that the lineup of cast was totally wrong, except by J. K. Simmons who plays the investor Arthur Rock responsible for the conspiracy that takes Jobs aways from Apple for a few years.

Well, the movie shows the life of the hippie Jobs in the years 70 and how he got his first thousand dollars, still working for Atari. His  talent or negotiating is amazing, in addition to his entrepreneurial vision focusing on what potential clients want to buy: status. But his strength was never the engineering itself. Then he had the support of his friend Woz (Josh Gad) who from the beginning was the one responsible for developing the first Apple computer and before that, a game for Atari that yielded $ 5,000 Jobs (which transferred to the "friend" just $ 350 in its first big lie, because he told the friend they would win only $700). Jobs was a genius when it comes to negotiating their products and brand and also on the expectation that created on the market, but his character is a bit iffy. The film passes quickly over his fight with Bill Gates (Microsoft) but does not make it clear if Windows was really stolen from Apple's labs. The film is interesting and caught attention because Jobs is really an extreme case of successful entrepreneur that is worth to be studied, even by non-addicted in technology and computing. But I don’t know, it seems that there was something missing in the film. It was a little bland.

It seems that sometime this year (2015) there will be launched a new movie about Jobs. Let's wait, maybe it's better...
