Levei uns dois anos para ver esse filme. Havia ganhado ingressos para a pré-estreia, mas para minha surpresa, a sala estava superlotada e eu teria que ver sentado no chão. Segundo a distribuidora, eles não esperavam que tanta gente realmente fosse à sessão. Enfim, fiquei puto e fui embora do cinema, me recusando a ficar no chão. Em represália, não paguei para ver também. Hoje, por coincidência, o filme estava passando na TV e fui conferir.
Em 2044, Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) é um assassino profissional, de uma gangue organizada por Abe (Jeff Daniels) pago para matar homens que vêm do futuro, e para tal, deve apenas aguardar que eles apareçam no local e horário marcados. Eles já vêm amarrados e com a cabeça coberta por um saco. Porém, um dia, o homem que ele precisa matar é ele mesmo, como acontece com todos os Loopers. Ele não consegue matar o velho Joe (Bruce Willis) que lhe conta que precisam se livrar de um homem conhecido no futuro como "Rainmaker", pois ele será um dos maiores assassinos de toda a história. No jogo de perseguições, Joe quer matar o velho Joe que por sua vez está atrás do Rainmaker. Joe então conhece Sara (Emily Blunt) que é mãe de Cid (Pierce Gagnon), que é uma das crianças que pode a vir a ser o "Rainmaker".
O filme tem muita ação, com mortes violentas, perseguições e tudo o mais que se espera num filme de ação. Mas tem um final fraco e muito previsivel. Perde pontos por isso, embora seja uma boa distração entre as opções que aparecem na TV a cabo.

It took me a couple years to watch this movie. I won tickets to the premiere, but to my surprise, the room was overbooked and I would have to see it sitting on the floor. According to the Distributor, they didn't expect that so many people actually would go to the session. Anyway, I was pissed off and I left the cinema, refusing to sit on the floor. In reprisal, I didn't pay to see also. Today, by coincidence, the movie was on TV and I went to check it out.
In 2044, Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a professional assassin, paid to kill men who come from the future, and to do this, he should just wait for them to appear at the place and time scheduled. They are already bound and head covered by a sack. However, one day, the man he needs to kill is himself, as happens to all Loopers. He can't kill old Joe (Bruce Willis) who tells him that they need to get rid of a man known in the future as "Rainmaker", because he will be one of the biggest killers in all of history. In the game of persecutions, Joe wants to kill old Joe who is behind the Rainmaker. Joe then meets Sara (Emily Blunt), who is the mother of Cid (Pierce Gagnon), which is one of the children who can be the Rainmaker.
The movie has plenty of action, with violent deaths, persecutions, and everything else you'd expect in an action movie. But it has a weak end and very predictable. Loses points for that, although it is a good distraction from the options that appear on cable TV.
