O garoto da casa ao lado (filme)

Claire (Jennifer Lopez) é professora de Literatura Clássica no ensino médio numa pequena cidade americana. Está em crise no seu casamento, depois de descobrir que o marido Garrett (John Corbet) tem uma amante numa das filiais da empresa onde trabalha. Por isso, estão separados há mais de 9 meses e além dela se sentir sozinha e sem saber se dá uma chance ou não ao marido, também sofre seu filho adolescente, Kevin (Ian Nelson). Então, o jovem Noah (Ryan Guzman) de apenas 20 anos se muda para a casa ao lado e mexe com a libido da quarentona Claire. Eles acabam tendo uma noite de sexo, da qual ela se arrepende e pretende esquecer, mas é tarde demais. Noah cria uma fixação por ela e começa a perseguir para mostrar seu amor e convencê-la de que devem ficar juntos. A paranoia vai crescendo a cada momento e o jovem se torna então uma grande ameaça a Claire, sua família e até a sua amiga e vice-diretora da escola Vicky (Kristin Chenoweth).

O filme me lembrou outros  thrillers como “O Amigo Oculto”, “ A Órfã” e “Chamada de Emergência” entre outros em que a psicose do vilão leva o protagonista às raias da violência. Mas dessa vez achei o enredo um pouco falho e algumas das decisões tomadas pela protagonista, muito fora da realidade. Mas o filme tem um bom clima de tensão progressiva e um desfecho que satisfaz a angústia de qualquer espectador. Um filme bom, e com dois grandes atrativos: as curvas de JLo e o corpaço de Ryan.

Enfim, uma boa diversão, mas nada essencial.

Claire (Jennifer Lopez) is a classical literature teacher in high school in a small american city. She is facing a crisis in heir marriage after discovering her husband Garrett (John Corbett) has a mistress at one of the subsidiaries of the company where he works. So they are separated for more than 9 months. She is feeling alone and not knowing whether or not to give a chance to the husband, and also her teenage son, Kevin (Ian Nelson) suffers. Then, the young Noah (Ryan Guzman) of just 20 years moves into the house next door and heat the libido of the 40-year-old Claire. They end up having a one-night stand, which she repents and wants to forget, but it is too late. Noah is in love and begins to chase her to prove his love and convince her that they belong together. He seems to be more paranoid every moment and the young man becomes so much of a threat to Claire, her family and even her friend and school vice-principal Vicky (Kristin Chenoweth).

The film reminded me of other thrillers as "Hide and Seek", "Orphan" and "The call" among others in which the villain's psychosis leads the protagonist to streaks of violence. But this time I found the plot somewhat flawed and some of the decisions taken by the protagonist, very out of touch with reality. But the movie has a good progressive tension and an outcome that satisfies the anguish of any viewer. A good movie, and with two great attractions: the curves of JLo and the body of Ryan.

Anyway, good fun, but nothing essential.
