A Casa dos Mortos (filme)

Filme de terror com todos os clichês possíveis, mas com um final interessante e surpreendente. O filme tem os sustos, a iluminação fraca, vídeos que são apagados, casa abandonada, ritual satânico, portal para o mundo dos mortos, um passado de mortes e jovens bonitos que repetem os rituais antigos, mulher grávida, polícia que não acredita nos depoimentos e psicóloga que tenta entender o que aconteceu. Tá, seria tudo igual aos outros filmes de terror, se não fosse pelos últimos minutos e clímax do filme (embora eu tenha quase conseguido descobrir o que iria acontecer). Sou fã do gênero, então sou suspeito para falar, mas o filme é bom sim.

E como acontece a história? Um crime ocorre numa casa, onde 5 jovens são encontrados mortos e um rapaz, John (Dustin Milligan)  é o único sobrevivente. Ele conta ao policial Mark (Frank Grillo) e à psicóloga Elizabeth (Maria Bello) que estava na casa com outros 6 jovens e que um deles fora possuído por um demônio e tentara matar a todos. Apenas ele e Michelle (Cody Horn) conseguiram fugir. A polícia então procura encontrar a jovem e também o assassino Bryan (Scott Mechlowicz), enquanto ele passa detalhes do que acontecera. Eles invadiram uma casa que estava abandonada há anos, desde quando um crime bem semelhante ocorrera, com apenas uma sobrevivente.

Pra quem curte o gênero, eu recomendo. Mas se prepare para a gritaria na sala de cinema. Ao menos no dia em que assisti, havia diversos grupos de amigas que não paravam de gritar a cada cena de susto. Meninas essas que saíram de casa para ver o Sr. Grey e se depararam com salas lotadas e, para não perder a viagem ao cinema, acabaram entrando nessa sessão de terror.

Horror movie with every possible cliché, but with an interesting and surprising ending. The film has the scares, the dim lighting, videos that are deleted, haunted House, Satanic ritual, portal to the underworld, a history of deaths and beautiful young people who repeat the ancient rituals, pregnant woman, police that does not believe the testimonials and psychologist who tries to figure out what happened. Yes, it would be all the same to other horror movies, if it wasn't for the last minutes and climax of the movie (though I have almost managed to find out what was going to happen). I'm a fan of the genre, so I'm suspect to talk, but the movie is good.

What about the story? A crime occurs in an abandoned house, where 5 young people are found dead, and a boy, John (Dustin Milligan) is the sole survivor. He tells the Officer Mark (Frank Grillo) and psychologist Elizabeth (Maria Bello) that he was in the house with other 6 young guys and that one of them had been possessed by a demon and attempted to kill everyone. Only he and Michelle (Cody Horn) managed to escape. The police then seek to find the lady and also the murderer Bryan (Scott Mechlowicz), while he gives details of what had happened. They raided a house that was abandoned years ago, since a similar crime occurred, with only one survivor.

For those who enjoy the genre, I recommend. But prepare yourself for the screaming in the theater. At least on the day I attended, there were several groups of friends who kept yelling every scene of fright. Those girls who left home to see Mr. Grey and came across crowded rooms and not to miss the trip to the movies, just got into this session of terror.
