Quando vi o
trailer do filme, não fiquei tão empolgado para ver, pois não sou fã de ficção
cientifica e viagens espaciais, mas depois de alguns comentários positivos, me
animei a ir ao cinema. O filme é muito bom! O trailer esconde a verdadeira
história do filme, e até mesmo boa parte do elenco de estrelas. Saí do cinema
meio tonto tentando absorver o que acontecera nas quase 3 horas de projeção. A
viagem espacial, buracos negros, quinta dimensão, tudo isso é apenas um pano de
fundo para uma bela peça sobre a ESPERANÇA e o AMOR. Lindo, lindo!

When
I first saw the trailer for the movie, I was not so excited to watch it,
because I'm not a fan of science fiction and space travel, but after some
positive comments about the movie, I decided to go to the movies. The film is
very good! The trailer hides the true story behind the film, and even much of
the cast of stars. I left the cinema a little dizzy trying to absorb what had
happened in almost 3 hours of projection. Space travel, black holes, the
fifth dimension, this is all just a backdrop for a beautiful piece about HOPE
and LOVE. Wonderful!!
The
starting point of the movie is a planet Earth devastated, with very few
survivors from a hecatomb. The survivors are working in agriculture to have
enough to eat, and plagues destroy entire plantations each year. In addition,
large sand storms invade the cities without notice. Cooper (Matthew
McConaughey) is a pilot who became a farmer, raising his two children, Murph
(Mackenzie Fox/Jessica Chastain/Ellen Burstyn) and Thom (Timothée Chalamet/Casey Affleck) after
the death of his wife. Besides, his step father, Donald (John Lithgow) live
with them. Somehow some unexplained phenomena happen in the young Murph’s
bedroom and are interpreted by her and by her father as the geographical
coordinates of a NASA station, which everyone believed no longer exists. Cooper
ends up being recruited to be a pilot on a secret interstellar mission to find
a new planet where the population of the Earth could move to. Murph doesn't
accept the departure of her father and, at the same time, he cannot confess to
his daughter the true purpose of the mission, as he shall never return to the
Blue planet. Professor Brand (Michael Cane) leads the NASA study and still
works in an equation that shall allow a spaceship to be launched into space
with the survivors. He needs some data that can only be obtained in space,
inside a giant black hole where Cooper and the Endeavour's crew must cross. The
team is comprised, besides him, by Dr. Brand’s daughter (Anne Hathaway), Doyle
(Wes Bentley) and Romilly (David Gyasi). In this mission they must cross
the black hole and try to find one of the 10 planets where other scientists
were sent to years before. Among them, Dr, Mann (Matt Damon) has sent signals
that the planet is really likely Earth and can be the new home for human race.
It's
a great journey, with the noble goal of saving the population of the Earth or,
at least, save the human species through frozen embryos that the crew is taking
with them. Hard mission that is affected by each other's emotions, after all,
LOVE is not in any mathematical equation and HOPE is who really moves the human
race. A delirium, many lies related to science, but a delicious journey to
inner knowledge of the human being. Well worth checking out.
